We offer one balloon flight per day. All reservations are confirmed on a first come, first served basis. Before a balloon flight can be confirmed, we must first be sure your requested date is available. By submitting this form, you are basically checking availability. Photographers Welcome
Ballooning is one of the most photographed activities on earth, and a hot air balloon is one of the best platforms for photographers! If you really want to have some fun and happen to have one of the GoPro® HD Cameras, by all means bring it! We also suggest you bring a GoPro® Handlebar Seatpost Mount
which will secure your GoPro camera to one of our burner supports or to our custom suspended camera mount which puts your camera out 25' from the basket for very spectacular shots.
Where we fly
All Balloon Nevada flights take place in the Carson Valley which consists of the towns of Minden, Gardnerville and Genoa.
The Carson Valley is located 13 miles east of Lake Tahoe, 45 miles south of Reno, 10 miles south of Carson City, and 400+ miles northwest of Las Vegas. The drive is pretty, no matter which direction you're coming from.
Where we meet balloon flight passengers
For your convenience, we meet all passengers at the easy to find Lampe
Park in Gardnerville. There is plenty of parking and lots of shade
during the summer months. Lampe Park is located on Waterloo Lane, 1/10th
mile west of highway 395 on Waterloo Lane. The
